Rebuilding a manufacturer's global website
One rebuild turned the website from a business card into a lead channel.
Client
Background
The legacy site ran on a decade-old template with tangled navigation and a poor mobile experience; overseas buyers needed more than three steps to reach specs and contact details.
Content updates went through an external agency, so a single product change took a week — the marketing team could not self-serve.
Our approach
We co-created the information architecture with sales and marketing, collapsing content into a three-level products → models → specs structure and defining a configurable multi-language content model.
The front end statically renders with Next.js, with image and font strategies to keep the critical path minimal, while structured data and a sitemap cover SEO.
How we delivered
Research & information architecture
Interviewed 8 internal users and 5 overseas buyers; delivered a sitemap and content inventory.
Visual & component design
Built design tokens and 20+ components on the brand palette, delivered high-fidelity screens.
Build & content migration
Three languages developed in parallel with scripts to migrate and proof historical material.
Launch & handover
Connected analytics and indexing, trained the marketing team to maintain content.
